The Science Express is a train with 16 coaches that has been travelling to different parts of India since 2007. Its coaches are loaded up with science experiments, facts, and do-it-yourself activities. It is an initiative launched by the Government of India, to explain scientific concepts and advances to anyone who is interested along the way.
How long has it travelled? It has travelled 1,41,800 km, and had 455 stops along the way.
The Science Express is currently addressing Climate Change.
What is climate change? The change in climate patterns in different parts of the world, mostly due to the increase in levels of greenhouse gases.
